Train intervals will be increased in the Kyiv subway due to a shortage of staff. This was reported by Kyiv Metro.
There are not enough people, in particular, due to mobilization. 7% of subway employees were drafted into the Armed Forces. There are 83 vacancies for electric train drivers and dozens of other positions.
Given the situation, train schedules on all subway lines will be changed in the near future.
“The intervals between trains will be increased by about one minute during off-peak hours and 45 seconds during peak hours,” Kyiv Metro added.
