A serviceman of the territorial department of the Military Law Enforcement Service of the Armed Forces of Ukraine was detained in Lviv region who tried to take a bribe for transferring a mobilized soldier to the rear. This information was reported by law enforcement agencies, in particular, the Specialized Prosecutor's Office in the field of defense of the Western region.

According to law enforcement, the 26-year-old serviceman offered the mobilized man "services" in the rear for $3,000.

The suspect promised to negotiate with other servicemen and influence the decision to transfer the mobilized man.

The soldier was detained in Lviv after receiving the money. He was chosen a measure of restraint in the form of arrest with the possibility of bail. If convicted, he faces 3 to 8 years in prison.
