The Legal Committee of the Georgian Parliament is to consider the "Russian law" on "foreign agents" on Monday, and a protest against its adoption has already gathered outside the building. This was stated by the Georgian publication Front News Georgia.

It is reported that those present at the rally are protesting the draft law "On Transparency of Foreign Influence."

The demonstration is taking place at the back entrance to the parliament. Representatives of civil society organizations and the media gathered there and unfurled banners with the words: "No to the Russian law!". They compare the proposed legislation to the Russian one, which the Kremlin uses to suppress dissent. Police were mobilized at the scene.

According to the publication, the protesters unfurled the EU flag near the parliament.

In addition, another protest against the bill will be held in front of the parliament at 19:00 in the evening.
