Mobile fire groups have enough ammunition to repel several more powerful enemy attacks. Lieutenant General Serhiy Nayev, Commander of the Joint Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, said this in a commentary to AFP.
"The current situation with man-portable air defense systems for mobile air defense groups is such that there is enough ammunition to withstand several more powerful attacks," said Serhiy Nayev.
According to him, in the medium and long term, Ukraine needs help from Western partners to replenish its missile stockpile.
Nayev noted that the enemy wants to exhaust Ukraine's air defense, so the priority is to get more ammunition, including Patriot air defense systems and the systems themselves.
In addition, the latest Russian attacks emphasize the need for Western allies to speed up the delivery of air defense equipment, UAVs and long-range missiles, he said.
