The head of the State Property Fund (SPF) of Ukraine, Dmytro Sennichenko, announced his resignation at his own request, Interfax-Ukraine reported.
"The resignation is my personal wish and my plans," he explained his decision at a press conference in Kiev on Thursday.
Sennichenko added that he originally planned to work in the position for about two years.
According to him, he managed to achieve the main objectives: to ensure the stability of processes in the IGF, create a team, digitalize processes and consolidate improvements in laws and regulations.
The head of the SPF added that the decision to resign was not related to the Bolshevik auction.
He clarified that he had already had a meeting with the president and the prime minister after submitting his application. According to him, his application has already been registered in the Verkhovna Rada.
The head of the Fund said that he intended to rest for at least two months after his resignation.
