The National Bank of Ukraine has adjusted the dollar exchange rate against the hryvnia, slightly weakening it after a historic peak was recorded last week. The information was published on the regulator's website.
According to the official exchange rate as of June 4, 2024, 1 dollar was worth UAH 40.4813, which is UAH 0.056 less than the previous day.
As a reminder, as of June 3, the rate was 40.53 hryvnia, which was a historical record.
The euro also experienced a slight decline and now stands at UAH 43.8939 per euro, down by UAH 0.0911 compared to the previous figure. Thus, the official euro exchange rate has retreated from the record high of UAH 43.985.
On the interbank foreign exchange market today, the dollar was trading in the range of UAH 40.43-40.45 per dollar (buy/sell), which is 16 kopecks lower than at the previous day's close. On the cash market, the dollar increased by 5 kopecks to 41.08 hryvnia to 1 dollar.
