Romanian President Klaus Iohannis has expressed his readiness to discuss the possibility of providing the Patriot missile system to Ukraine. This information was reported by Reuters.


After a meeting with US President Joe Biden in Washington, Iohannis noted that discussions have recently been held on the possible provision of the Patriot system to Ukraine.


“President Biden mentioned it ... during our meeting, and I said I'm open to discussions. I have to discuss it in the Supreme Defense Council to see what we can offer and what we can get in return, because it is unacceptable to leave Romania without air defense,” Iohannis said.
