In an interview with ABC News, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said that Ukraine needs modern air defense systems to ensure more effective defense of Kharkiv. He expressed his belief that two Patriot systems would be enough.


Zelensky emphasized that the situation is very serious, and the loss of Kharkiv is unacceptable. He believes that two Patriot systems will ensure that the city is out of Russia's reach.


Answering a question about the perpetrators of the new escalation in the Kharkiv direction, Zelensky pointed to the global joint responsibility. He believes that the world had the opportunity to prevent the occupation, but now it can help in defending a peaceful future.
