Ukraine has not received permission from the UK to strike with its weapons on the territory of the Russian Federation. This was stated by Volodymyr Zelensky in an interview with The Guardian.

According to him, London has not yet given “one hundred percent permission” to strike Russia with its weapons, as it is waiting for a similar step from the United States.

“We have raised this issue twice. We have not received confirmation from him,” Zelensky said, referring to Foreign Secretary David Cameron, who had previously claimed that such permission had been granted (but this was later actually denied by British Defense Secretary Shepps).

Zelensky then expressed dissatisfaction with the fact that the United States had denied Ukraine the right to strike Russia with ATACMS missiles. He called on the United States to “believe in us more.”

As a reminder, the United States allowed Kyiv to strike with its weapons only on the border territory of the Russian Federation. According to media reports, this permission does not apply to strikes with American long-range weapons (ATACMS missiles). That is, apparently, none of the suppliers of long-range missiles to Ukraine has yet given their consent to strike Russia with them.
