Scholz may allow Ukraine to use German weapons to strike Russia - Politico

German Chancellor Olaf Scholz is inclined to allow Ukraine to attack Russia with German weapons. This is reported by Politico.

According to the publication, Scholz's spokesman Steffen Hebestreit told journalists that “Ukraine's defensive actions are not limited to its own territory and can extend to the aggressor's territory.”

However, Hebestreit kept the details of the agreement with Kyiv on the use of German weapons confidential.

As a reminder, on Sunday, Scholz himself said that he opposes attacks on Russia with Western weapons. The chancellor has also consistently opposed the transfer of long-range Taurus missiles to Ukraine.
