Italian Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani said that the weapons provided to the Ukrainian Armed Forces as part of military aid can only be used on the territory of Ukraine. This information was provided by Tajani, citing ANSA sources.
The minister emphasized that all military resources transferred are intended for use exclusively on Ukrainian soil. Italy does not supply equipment that can be used outside the country.
Tajani also commented on French President Emmanuel Macron's statement about the possible deployment of NATO troops to Ukraine.
He noted that this is a NATO decision, and Italy, as a member of the Alliance, will respect it.
Italy does not want to get involved in a conflict with Russia and opposes sending troops that could lead to armed confrontations with the Russians.
