A budget subsidy will be available for farmers from the de-occupied territories: details

The government is launching a subsidy program for farmers from the de-occupied territories. Starting May 1, the State Agrarian Register will be open for applications for budget subsidies, the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food reports.

 

Funds in the amount of UAH 8000 per 1 hectare will be provided to agricultural producers who own or use up to 120 hectares of agricultural land.

 

The de-occupied territories and territories where hostilities have ended include:

  • territories of possible hostilities;
  • active hostilities (for which the date of the end of hostilities has been determined);
  • active hostilities, where state electronic information resources are functioning (for which the date of the end of hostilities has been determined).

 

The assistance will be available to agricultural producers in certain districts of Donetsk, Dnipropetrovsk, Zhytomyr, Kyiv, Luhansk, Mykolaiv, Odesa, Sumy, Kharkiv, Kherson, and Chernihiv regions.

 

Applications will be accepted in the State Agrarian Register until June 30, 2024.
