The European Commission has informed the EU Steering Committee about the allocation of EUR 4.5 billion in March as part of interim financing to Ukraine. This was reported by the press service of the European Commission.
The program provides much-needed liquidity to finance the functioning of the state, such as paying salaries, pensions and providing basic public services, so that Ukraine can continue to focus on winning the war.
"The second tranche of the pre-financing of €1.5 billion for Ukraine is scheduled for April, subject to a positive assessment of the fulfillment of the agreed conditions," the statement said.
