Ukraine offers Poland to establish relations between agrarians of the two countries

Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine Mykola Solskyi met with his Polish counterpart Czesław Siekierski. The parties discussed cooperation in the agricultural sector. This was reported by the press service of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.


According to the ministry, Solskyi proposed to Siekierski to hold joint interministerial talks at the end of March, involving representatives of specialized agricultural associations in Poland and Ukraine.


"This format of work will help to establish constructive relations between Ukrainian and Polish agrarians," the Cabinet of Ministers quoted Solskyi as saying.


The ministry clarifies that the meeting between Solskyi and Siekierski took place within the framework of the ninth meeting of the Ukrainian-Polish intergovernmental commission on economic cooperation, which is taking place in Lviv.
